Как сообщает турецкая Hürriyet Daily со ссылкой на высокопоставленного представителя турецких властей, альянс в составе турецкого управления по закупкам продукции военного назначения, немецкой верфи HDW (Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft) и небольшой турецкой верфи на следующей неделе представит совместную заявку на строительство двух подводных лодок типа 209 для ВМС Индонезии.

«Осталось уладить небольшие формальности с немецкой стороной и мы сможем подать совместную заявку», — цитирует газета свой источник. «Мы делаем Индонезии заманчивое предложение — интересно, как там отреагируют?»
Заявка, стоимость которой составляет 1 млрд долл., будет конкурировать с предложением корейской Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering — она предложила построить три лодки все того же типа 209 за 1,2 млрд долл. При этом главной проблемой Daewoo является то, что авторские права на лодки типа 209 принадлежат HDW, уже объединившейся с турками, поэтому не совсем понятно, сможет ли корейская сторона выполнить заказ без лицензии правообладателя.
В первой половине декабря делегация представителей оборонной промышленности Турции во главе с заместителем министра обороны Кемалем Ярдимчи посетила Индонезию, где провела переговоры. Визит совпал с визитом вице-премьера Бюлента Арынча на индонезийский остров Бали.
Как сообщил турецкий чиновник, Ярдимчи и его помощники провели с индонезийскими властями переговоры по широкому спектру проблем оборонной промышленности.
«Дело дошло даже до формирования дорожной карты будущего сотрудничеста в оборонной сфере», — сказал он. «Помимо лодок мы обсудили в общих чертах проекты с возможным участием [корпорации военной электроники] Aselsan, [производителя ракет] Roketsan и производителей бронированной техники».
Ранее из тендера индонезийских ВМС выбыли Россия и Франция, а южнокорейская Daewoo считалась фаворитом. Предполагалось, что Daewoo подаст заявку вместе с немецкой HDW, однако затем компания решила выступить самостоятельно.
HDW также совместно с Турцией строит шесть современных дизельных подводных лодок U-214 для турецких ВМС. Ранее HDW и Турция построили 14 подводных лодок U-209.
