Центрально-азиатские государства являются членами ОДКБ, а Россия взяла на себя обязательства по оказанию им в случае необходимости военной помощи. Таким образом, мы можем оказаться вовлеченными в конфликт с противником численностью до 30 — 40 тысяч человек. И война с таким противником окажется более тяжелой, нежели августовский конфликт 2008 года с Грузией.
